WHAT IS THE CONTO TERMICO?
The Conto termico 2.0 is an incentive provided by the GSE (Gestore Servizi Energetici) and provides for a cash contribution for the new installation of biomass stoves and inserts that meet particular requirements and are installed to replace existing heating systems.
THE NEW CONTO TERMICO
It allows for an extension of the methods of access to the contribution and of the subjects admitted to the recognition of the incentive for energy efficiency interventions (such as the installation of pellet or wood stoves, boilers and fireplaces) compared to the previous legislation of 2012:
- Streamlining the procedure for accessing incentives
- Raising of the limit for disbursement of the incentive
- in a single installment (from €600 to €5,000)
- Reduction of payment times from 6 to 2 months.

WHO CAN BENEFIT?
The incentives of the thermal account 2.0 are aimed at:
PUBLIC ADMINISTRATIONS :
including former Istituti Autonomi Case Popolari, cooperatives of inhabitants registered to Albo nazionale delle società cooperative edilizie di abitazione set up at the Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico, as well as companies with wholly public assets and social cooperatives registered in the respective regional registers .
PRIVATE:
natural persons, condominiums and individuals with business or agricultural income.
How is the incentive value calculated?
The contribution envisaged by the Conto Economico is calculated on the basis of the power of the appliance, its emissions and the climatic zone in which it is installed. The consumption ranges are regulated through the identification of the average temperatures in 6 different areas of the national territory.
HOW IS THE REQUEST MADE?
The grant request can be made in two ways:
DIRECT ACCESS:
submitting the request within 60 days of the end of the works
RESERVATION:
for the interventions to be carried out, a deposit may be requested upon start-up and the balance upon completion of the works.
What are eligible products?
To take advantage of the incentives provided by the new Conto Termico, the appliances installed must meet certain characteristics.
