There are various models on the market to meet every need in terms of power, type, size and shape.
all our products are certified by special bodies which guarantee their characteristics, safe operation and compliance with the regulations.
levels of semi-automatic management of the stove have been reached which allow constant control of combustion to optimize it and adapt it to various types of pellets.
WHICH PELLET STOVE IS MOST SUITABLE FOR MY NEEDS?
This is the question that many users ask themselves at the time of purchase.
To answer, we must first understand what type of use our stove will have:
• Will it replace the current heating system?
• Will it complement the current heating system?
• Will it heat a well-defined area or the entire surface of the house?
• Will it have continuous or intermittent operation?
Let's see the main criteria to take into consideration:
AIR OR HYDROSTOVES
Pellet stoves are divided into two large families: AIR or WATER (hydro).
In the air versions , the heat exchange with the environment takes place either by natural convection or by forced ventilation, by means of which the heating takes place through a circle of hot air which is conveyed by one or more fans. Vi sono inoltre le versioni canalizzate, che permettono tramite dei ventilatori ausiliari, di veicolare l’aria calda anche in altre stanze.
In the water versions , the heat exchange with the environment takes place through the water of the house's heating system (radiators, underfloor system, etc.) and can be integrated in various ways, even in parallel with the gas boiler or diesel, with solar panels etc…
DIMENSION OF THE ROOMS
When choosing the type of stove, we must understand the dimensions of the rooms to be heated, taking into account not only the surface area, but above all the type of insulation that the walls and ceiling have, since the greater the insulation, the less of stove power.
In the air versions, another important data will be the positioning of the stove in the room. Bear in mind that the thrust of the hot air normally comes out from the front of the machine, we must consider that if, for example, we want to heat the sleeping area even a little, we will have to try to position the stove as frontally as possible to the door that leads to such rooms.
Another element to keep in mind is the flue (always necessary), which according to European legislation must always reach the top of the roof.
The diameter then depends on its length (up to 6 meters and classic 2 curves) and must be at least 8 cm, increasing if the length is greater or there are more curves.
It is also advisable not to exceed 3-4 meters in the horizontal sections (it must always have a minimum slope towards the outside).
Once all these factors have been evaluated and the range has therefore been restricted to a few products, the aesthetic choice takes over, which, based on the type of furniture in which it is to be inserted, allows us to evaluate the finishes (sheet metal, ceramic, glass, etc.) and the colors of our product which is suitable for both more classic and more modern furnishings thanks to the wide choice of colors and models.
Another point to take into maximum consideration is the installation and after-sales assistance which must be carried out by specialized personnel who are always updated on the regulations in force.
Professional assistance will be able to solve all the problems that could arise during the use of the pellet stove.
